Pro Stores
1.) How does Back 2 MAC work? What is accepted?
"Back To MAC
Because we share your concern about our environment.
When you have finished using size MAC plastic packaged cosmetic items purchased from us, please bring the container back to MAC.
We cannot reuse these containers for our products, but we can make sure the material is properly recycled.
To credit you for your good deed, accumulating six recyclable plastic containers entitles you to select one free lipstick as our thanks to you.
Since 100% of the retail selling price of Viva Glam lipsticks is provided to organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS, these colours are excluded from this program.
The Back to MAC Program is not available where regulations prohibit."

2.) What's the difference between a MAC counter, a standalone MAC store, and a MAC pro store?
A MAC counter sells lipsticks, eyeshadows in pots, foundations, eyeliners and pretty much most of the regular MAC items. A MAC standalone store will carry more items than the counter, including MAC eyeshadow pans, eyeshadow palettes and the regular MAC pigments. The MAC Pro store carries all of MAC's products, including pro items like pro pigments, paintsticks, eye gloss, chroma cakes, pro eyeshadows, pro foundations, etc.
3.) Where are the pro stores?
There are currently only a few pro stores including ones in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Rome, London, and Paris.

Pigments
1.) What are pigments? How do I use them?
Pigments are basically pots of loose color that can be used on the eyes, lips, nails, cheeks, basically anywhere you can think of (with a few exceptions, see below). Pigments can be mixed with nailpolish or lipgloss to create a new color or they can be used as eyeshadow. You can also mix pigments to create a new color. The Water Based Mixing Medium (pro item) is great for mixing pigments and helps them to stick well to the eye.

Product Information
1.) Where can I buy 4 pan and 15 pan eyeshadow palettes? How much are they?
You can buy the eyeshadow palettes at any freestanding MAC store. The 4 pan palettes are $3.50 and the 15 pan palettes are $12.50.
2.) What are paints? How do I use them?
Paints are tubes of cream eyeshadow. You can apply them to your eyelid with your fingers or using a concealer brush or a dense eyeshadow brush. Paints work well as an eyeshadow base and help regular and loose eyeshadow stick better to your eye.

4.) Can I return this to item to a counter, a standalone MAC store, a pro store? What is the return policy?
You can only return an item to the place you bought it from and you must have a reciept. MAC will not accept products back without a reciept. The counters may have different policies depending on the policies of the department store they are located in.
